Slow Sunday evening, après sports

We were treated to a glorious Sunday afternoon, but after hockey, rugby and rowing, we decided to take it easy, and to head out for a little trip to see if we could find anything interesting.

Ipsden Aerodrome

So often something interesting happening at the local private airstrip

Glider slo-mo take off

Returning to terraferma

Bluebell woods

Just a few minutes up the road from Ipsden Aerodrome, we stopped for a stroll around the bluebell woods that Em and I found last week

Always helpful to have an assistant to carry some of the gear

Having the drone with us, we were also able to capture a mid-tree level drone panosphere

PANORAMA Bluebell-dell

Elevated drone shot of a tree donning its leaves

Dazzling fields of yellow

Despite them not being hey fever friendly, as we drove passed this field of vibrant yellow crops, we just had to stop to enjoy them

Such vibrant yellow landscape

Albeit temporary, ....until next year

The drone's eye view is amazing

PANORAMA A view like no other

Home to enjoy the last of the sun, and the clear evening skies

The moon was so glorious with just the DSLR

So I set up the telescope
