Editing Join the Dots

While the end result for the consumer of a Join the Dots should be easily understandable, the editing interface needs to be able to handle quite a few different elements.

Seamlessly adding and removing elements throughout the timeline.
Support markdown for text hyperlinks.
Story Link - for making the whole element clickable
Marker editing - flexibility to support date makers such as 1st September 2020, or just simply 'Monday' or 1987.
Image treatments : make your images be tall, wide, round or square.
