The Guide

The stories we tell about our life, become the story of our life.

Storyus is a slower, private place where a family's photos become stories, and stories become an archive - no likes, no follower counts, no algorithm deciding what matters. Everything happens inside your collective: your family's own corner, invisible to the world, where the ordinary Tuesday and the trip of a lifetime both get kept properly.

And "kept properly" means more than a camera roll. One summer's roadtrip can become a walk on a live map, four different people's tellings of the same weeks, a hundred-photo album that assembles itself, a timeline, a stream of small true things - and finally a magazine that gathers all of it onto one front page and keeps itself current forever:

A real Storyus magazine: one family trip curated into a front page with a main story, a side rail of moments, and sections that fill themselves
One real trip, one real magazine - built with the tools this guide teaches, rule by rule.

This guide walks through all of it with real screenshots, in the order you'll actually need it. Every chapter points at +demos - a live collective every Storyus user belongs to, where that trip above is told in every form the product has. Nothing you do there can break anything.

What your role opens

The practical footnote: people join a collective with a role, and the role decides which tracks are yours. Everyone reads. Members and up also create. Owners and admins keep the place running.
